I have been very busy working on my comic, to the point I had to disconnect myself from a bunch of sites.
I've already posted a few of those finished pages to my tumblr, but felt like I should wait a bit before posting them anywhere else (especially since I had to restart the story to better fit certain elements of the plot).
I've also been helping some friends on their projects by making concept/promo art, meaning I've been drawing a lot of shit that I can't show until a later time.
Been trying to find a job as well, but my country is a piece of shit, so the only way I can actually make any cash on my own is by trying to get some commission from people of the internet.
Can't promise I'll be more active here but I'll try to post some of the finished things I've worked on.
So, if you're interested, please check the following link for my usual prices.
I missed the deadline and wasn’t able to finish the page.
It’ll be up for next Saturday, or possibly Friday.
But, to make up for it, I posted a sample of the main Endless Halls story in my art thread. http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1410138#bbspost25914676_post_text.
I honestly can’t say when I’ll be finished, but I figure showing some samples every now and then wouldn’t hurt.
I'll also be taking commissions soon and I'll be posting the sheet sometime this week.
If you're interested to get one now however, you can message me directly.
So, as mentioned before, I’m currently working on the main story of Endless Halls and I’m halfway done with a whole 20 or so page chapter.
However, since I don’t want my account or interest in the comic to die off due to inactivity, I decided to leave the weekly schedule to a smaller set of stories that take place in the same world.
These stories star other denizens that live in other parts of The Halls. None of these characters will ever come face to face with Mia of the main story, but they do help give an insight of how things are in The Halls.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
So, I’ve been inactive for a while, but for good reason.
For one, I’ve been trying to get a paying job and I may just have nailed it.
I’ve also been trying to stave off social media sites to avoid distractions. I’ll continue to do so for a while cause it’s done wonders for me.
Had some time to think about the direction of the project. I’ve mentioned before that I’m still working on it, but the small hiatus let me see a few kinks that needed to be dealt with.
I said I would write everything out before continuing work on it, but turns out, I really didn’t need to write that much before I got my motivation to work again.
Small preview, still needs to be polished up.
I’m not gonna post anything publicly, I’m just going to keep working on these pages until there’s enough for me not to worry about weekly posts.
I’m also coining the idea to see if I can make a few shorts, but I’ll have to test myself a bit to see if I can actually manage that, outside of scripts.
I’ll try to keep this and other pages posted.
After a recent computer fuck up, I'm taking a break to recollect myself. I'll still be relatively active online but won't be uploading as much art as I used to.
At least things like pages for Endless Halls. I'll probably get back to drawing and posting doodles as I usually do soon enough.
That said, I am still working on EH, but in a different format.
I'm going to focus on writing this thing to completion before I tackle the comic again. Comments and critiques would be very appreciated.
Now you can look at all the junk I've made, and am going to make before it gets to the Art Portal!
Or you know, not going to put in the Portal cause it's not nice enough for me.
So ended up not going with the sketchy posts for Endless Halls. In fact, it's highly likely that I'll only be uploading the finished pages for that story.
However, I'm still thinking of making some comics on the side with the sketchy look. Just not sure how I'll go about uploading them. (schedule wise)
Still working on some new pieces to put in my portfolio, just wanted to keep this page updated.
How does it sound, if I upload the sketched pages of Endless Halls for you to see early?
Recently, it's come to my attention that I desperately need to update my portfolio. Since making quality pics takes time, I may have to dedicate most of it to work on some new paintings, rather than the comic.
I still plan on uploading the finished pages on a regular basis, but I feel like I could tell the story I want to tell at a much faster pace, instead of making people wait a week to see a small piece of it.
This also opens up the possibility for additional stories to be told in this format. Or you know, just more pics in general.
Here's a sample of what to expect.
I'd like to hear some feedback before going all out on this.
